(Corrects executive position of Dan Cathy on first slide and reference on ninth slide.)
In a recent interview with Biblical Recorder, Dan Cathy, the president and chief operating officer of Chick-fil-A, spoke openly of his opposition to same-sex marriage. It didn’t take long for a wide array of gay marriage supporters to respond by expressing their distaste for Cathy’s views and to call for a boycott of the privately owned company’s more than 1,600 restaurants around the country. In doing so, they joined a robust American tradition.
