Moon Ihlwan


Moon Ihlwan is Seoul bureau chief at BusinessWeek, a position he assumed in February, 2000. Prior to his appointment, Ihlwan was senior correspondent in BusinessWeek's Seoul bureau, a position held since November, 1999. Ihlwan joined BusinessWeek in 1997. Prior to that, he worked for Reuters, where he began his career in 1980. He served as Reuters' deputy bureau chief in Singapore and Seoul. Ihlwan also helped run Bloomberg's Seoul bureau. He is a graduate of Sogang University.
