Intel's Robot Smartphone Testers


Mobile phone makers need to focus on responsiveness and feel as much as speed and memory. To help sell chips to those companies, Intel (INTC) is lending out robots from its factories that have been programmed to analyze a smartphone’s user interface with more precision than human testers. Intel says these tests also help demonstrate the processing power of its chips.
