Piguet was born and raised in Denver, where she studied business and psychology. After graduating, she held a variety of positions, including stints at Adolph Coors and Logitech, before founding her own company, Plan B Marketing, in 1994. In 1999, she moved to Switzerland and worked as a senior consultant for the executive search firm De Weck & Partners. Piguet joined IMD in 2002 and became associate director of admissions in 2005. She now manages admissions and marketing for the school.
