Aviva Investors Strengthens Global Investment & Risk Teams Business Wire CHICAGO -- August 11, 2014 Aviva Investors announced today the recent hiring of four senior investment and risk professionals in its Chicago and Toronto offices. These hires represent a continuation of the firm’s focus on building a global platform designed to help clients meet their objectives, manage risk and manage volatility. All four people bring extensive experience to Aviva Investors and share a common belief in the importance of helping clients achieve their goals.” The four individuals are: Kevin Mathews, CFA, High Yield Portfolio Manager (Chicago) Kevin joins with a wealth of global experience in the high yield bond marketplace, most recently at Scottish Widows Investment Partnership in New York as the Head of U.S. High Yield, and previously at F & C Investments in London as Head of Global High Yield. Kevin’s 32 years as an investment professional include high yield portfolio manager roles at Gulf International Bank in London, ING Investments in Arizona, and Van Kampen Investments in Chicago. Robert Prospero, CFA, Credit Analyst (Toronto) Robert joins Aviva Investors from Manulife Asset Management where he held various roles, most recently as a Senior Investment Analyst and starting as an investment analyst in the Investment Division Rotational Program.
