New Delhi, Delhi, India- Business Wire India  Expedia.com®, one of the world's largest online travel agency, today released the results of the 2014 Flip Flop Report, an analysis of behavior and preferences among beachgoers in Asia, North America, South America, Europe and Australia. The survey highlights interesting findings regarding Indians' rising inclination towards beach holidays. The survey was conducted online from March 11 to April 2, 2014 across North America, Europe, South America and Asia Pacific using the Kantar-owned GMI (Global Market Insite) and Lightspeed Research amalgamated group of panels. The study was conducted among 11,165 adults aged 18 years of age and older, across 24 countries.  “This fun survey by Expedia reveals exciting findings regarding how the looking beyond the frontiers for a beach vacation. This survey was conducted online from March 11 to April 2, 2014 across North America, Europe, South America and Asia Pacific using the Kantar-owned GMI (Global Market Insite) and Lightspeed Research amalgamated group of panels. The study was conducted among 11,165 adults aged 18 years of age and older across 24 countries. Sampling quotas and weighting were used to ensure the sample is representative of each country's population in terms of age and gender. Assuming a probability sample, the margin of error would be +/-0.9 percentage points, 19 times out of 20.
