Greenlight Technologies and SAP Sign Global Reseller Agreement
SAP to Resell Greenlight Regulation Management and Access Violation
Management Solutions to Help Customers Standardize Their Regulation
FLEMINGTON, NJ -- (Marketwired) -- 08/07/14 -- Greenlight
Technologies announced today that it signed a global reseller
agreement with SAP SE (NYSE: SAP). Building on an established
relationship, SAP will resell Greenlight's Regulation Management
solution as the SAP(R) Regulation Management application by
Greenlight and Greenlight's Access Violation Management solution as
the SAP Access Violation Management application by Greenlight.
"For many organizations today, regulatory initiatives are managed in
silos and, as a result, there is a lot of duplication of effort,"
said Anand Adya, chief executive officer, Greenlight Technologies.
"Our solutions now being resold by SAP will further enable customers
to centrally manage strategic regulatory initiatives and align with
internal control activities so that compliance just happens as a
byproduct of internal-control best practices."
Companies in highly regulated industries often deal with a wide range
of industry, market and regulatory mandates that can change
continually and vary greatly in their requirements. Regulations can
have a direct impact on processes throughout the organization, from
those related to legal, finance, compliance and IT. Written and
enforced by a variety of bodies -- local, state, national and
international -- regulations can be repetitive or contradictory, and
the systems used to propagate regulations and changes may vary. With
SAP Regulation Management providing a unified, enterprise-wide
solution, organizations will be enabled to capture, assess and
respond to regulatory changes quicker and more accurately. Compliance
with new and changing mandates can be accelerated, while helping to
reduce duplicate efforts and enable continuous compliance. "Companies
need to meet the challenges of rising and dynamic regulatory
expectations across all industries," said Kevin McCollom, group vice
president and general manager, Governance, Risk and Compliance, SAP.
"Through our global reseller agreement with Greenlight, we are
expanding our commitment to customers who must comply with multiple
regulations, helping them to further leverage the investments they
have already made. Providing strategic choices for CFOs and CIOs that
support board mandates form the foundation of our value proposition.
We will be extending that expertise to help transform regulatory
compliance and management of business controls."
The financial impact of access risks to business applications
addition to accelerating regulatory compliance, the solutions
available from Greenlight and SAP will help enable organizations to
automate execution and testing of controls across business
applications, and specifically assess the financial exposure that
broad user access has on the business. Through this transparency,
organizations will be able to take appropriate remediation actions
where risk exposure is high.
