    develop companion diagnostic tests in support of targeted therapeutics
  oLeica Biosystems will develop fully automated tissue-based companion
    diagnostic tests to run on the BOND™ automated advanced staining systems

Leica Biosystems, today announced an agreement with Bristol-Myers Squibb
Company (NYSE: BMY) to collaborate on developing companion diagnostics on the
Leica BOND system for use as an aid in selecting patients for treatment with
certain pharmaceuticals developed, or to be developed, by Bristol-Myers
Squibb. Other terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
