  Management Applications

Business Wire

CHICAGO -- July 16, 2014

Galleria today announced that the company has been positioned in the Niche
Players' quadrant in Gartner, Inc.'s 2014 Magic Quadrant for Merchandise
Assortment Management Application.

One of 17 vendors to be evaluated across 15 criteria, Galleria has been
recognized as a Niche Player based on completeness of vision and ability to
execute.

“We consider our positioning and proven client success confirmation of our
mission to positively impact the bottom line performance of retailers and
manufacturers alike through scalable solutions,” said Ian Duncan-Lewis, CEO at
Galleria. “With 25 years’ experience; we continue to innovate as we execute
our product roadmap and there is no better example of this than our assortment
application.”

Strategic Assortment enables the rapid creation of consumer centric
assortments, whilst balancing both breadth and depth of the assorted mix and
in context of the broader strategy. The result is a credible customer focused
assortment that best fits the ideal space. With flexibility in mind, the
solution can facilitate the creation of space aware assortments across
multiple channels and at a variety of levels, all of which can be worked on
simultaneously across the retail estate to provide a holistic view of product
distribution across all stores.

"We are extending product functionality to help retailers achieve more; with
ever reduced time and resources the priority lies in the delivery of insights
across the channel and the ability to effectively query big data to move
beyond the confines of retail today to plan, automate and optimize in real
time,” said Steve Boon, VP of Sales at Galleria.

The first Magic Quadrant of its kind, one of the criterion to be evaluated
looks at “the ability to provide technical and relationship support and
services that drive customer satisfaction.”
Galleria’s solutions are instrumental in helping their clients to move from a
siloed to collaborative way of working, crossing organizational boundaries to
articulate an accurate assortment across the estate.
