(TCI) sold 18,729 vehicles in June, up 2.1% versus last year. Sales for the first half of the year reached 100,635, up 3.6% compared to the first six months of 2013. It was the best June ever for TCI truck sales, with 9,002 units sold, up 3.3% compared to 2013. Highlights included a June record for sales of the Highlander with 1,033 vehicles, up 68% and Highlander Hybrid with 171 units, up 92.1%. Lexus sales in June of 1,521 rose 18.3% over 2013, bringing the total for the first half of the year to 8,426, up 16.6%.
