SmartTrust UITs Adds 2 External Wholesalers On West Coast

PARSIPPANY, N.J., June 18, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --Hennion & Walsh, a provider of
investment services and an advocate for individual investors, announced today
that it has hired two experienced external wholesalers on the West Coast for
its proprietary SmartTrust^® Unit Investment Trust (UIT) business, extending
its coverage across the entire country.

The two hires, Scott Ferrette, formerly Regional Vice President of SC
Distributors, and Michael Sullivan, formerly of North Peak Asset Management,
will serve as regional vice presidents and report to national sales director

wholesaling experience, but also the deep roots and extensive contacts they

Mr. Ferrette worked with SC Distributors since January 2011, most recently
serving in the role of Regional Vice President covering the Northeast Region
of the U.S.Prior to SC Distributors, he was a Senior Internal Wholesaler with
Metropolitan Life Insurance Distribution Company.
Mr. Sullivan has been in the industry for 14 years, most recently serving as
an external wholesaler covering the Western Region for North Peak Asset
Management. Prior to North Peak, he was an external wholesaler for Atel
Capital Group and Realty Income Corporation.
