The announcement comes as Aggreko seeks to drive business growth in key sectors across the region, with Thailand selected for its strategic location and proximity to current and future customers. Having traditionally served regional customers from a central location in Singapore, the new service depot will assist the needs of Thailand and neighbouring Myanmar, Cambodia, Vietnam and Laos. The move strengthens Aggreko's presence and reach across Asia - currently with 27 offices - and allows it to help bridge the power gap in key markets. In increasing the scope and efficiency of its offering, Aggreko will enable customers to realise their business potential, drive business continuity and power mission-critical assignments until improvements to energy infrastructure can be achieved across the region. It will also allow Aggreko to provide faster turnaround times for services, increased flexibility and significant savings on equipment logistics.
