Community 1^st Bank (OTCBB: CFBN), announced that Robert C. Haydon has been
appointed and will resume his service as Chairman of the Board of Directors of
Community 1^st Bank. “We are delighted to have Bob resume his role in leading
our Board as Chairman,” stated Russell P. Baldo, outgoing Board Chairman who
will continue his service as Vice-Chair of Community 1^st Bank’s Board. “Bob
is highly respected with a successful and tenured career in the banking
industry. As the founding Chairman of our Board, Mr. Haydon’s intimate
knowledge of Community 1^st Bank combined with extensive experience banking
the Greater Sacramento marketplace makes it ideal for him to return as
Chairman of our Board.”

Mr. Haydon came out of retirement in 2011 to serve as Community 1^st Bank’s
President and CEO at the request of the Board of Directors. During Mr.
Haydon’s tenure, the Bank experienced a complete turnaround from losses
experienced during the recession to significant growth and profitability. Mr.
Haydon commented, “I have achieved what I envisioned when I accepted the
Board’s request to serve and lead the Bank during a very difficult time.
Today, I am most satisfied to leave the day-to-day management knowing the Bank

Community 1^st Bank simultaneously announced the promotion of James J. Kim to
President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Kim has served Community 1^st Bank
as Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial
Officer since 2007. Mr. Haydon commented, “It is a pleasure to promote Mr. Kim
to President and Chief Executive Officer. Having had the opportunity to work
with James over the last several years, he has proven himself as an integral

Toni B. White, who has been Vice President and Controller, will be promoted to
Senior Vice President and Interim Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Baldo
