Three California Superior Courts Collaborate to Select Tyler Technologies’ Odyssey Court Management System Courts choose Odyssey to modernize operations, save money by collaborating on implementation Business Wire PLANO, Texas -- May 22, 2014 Tyler Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: TYL) today announced that three California superior courts have collaborated to modernize their court technology by jointly implementing Tyler’s Odyssey^® court case management solution. In order to gain a variety of efficiencies and cost savings, the courts will implement Odyssey as a single project while meeting the local needs of each community and court. The collaboration includes the Superior Courts of Santa Clara, Monterey and Napa. The combined agreements are worth approximately $6.4 million and cover the implementation of all core Odyssey applications and e-filing. The participating courts have a goal to identify a common Odyssey configuration and implementation approach that can be leveraged by courts of varying sizes throughout the state. To date, 17 California superior courts have announced that they have selected Tyler’s Odyssey court management solution. The courts used the state’s Master Services Agreement (MSA) that gives California’s 58 superior courts the ability to purchase Tyler’s Odyssey integrated court case management system at pre-negotiated terms, conditions and pricing outlined in the MSA. The MSA was developed by a group of IT leaders and court managers within the California judicial system as a way for the courts to efficiently upgrade their case management environments. Santa Clara County is located at the southern end of the San Francisco Bay area in Silicon Valley with a population of approximately 1.8 million. Napa County, with a population of approximately 136,000, is also part of the San Francisco Bay area. Monterey County has a population of 415,000 and is located on the southern half of Monterey Bay on the Pacific coast. In total, Odyssey has been selected for use by more than 500 counties in 21 states, serving more than 75 million residents. Odyssey has been successfully deployed statewide in Indiana, Minnesota, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Dakota and South Dakota; statewide implementations in Idaho, Maryland, Oregon, Rhode Island and Washington are currently underway.
