Attention Designers and Architects: Pfister Launches Custom Faucet Challenge 
Contest for Chance to Win Cash Prize, Trip to California
and Bragging Rights 
Design Contest Invites Participants to Compete for Cash Prize and
Trip to Pfister Headquarters 
LAS VEGAS, NV -- (Marketwired) -- 05/16/14 --  Pfister, a leading
brand of the Hardware & Home Improvement (HHI) division of Spectrum
Brands Holdings (NYSE: SPB), today announced the start of its 2014
Pfister Custom Faucet Challenge Contest, which illustrates the vast
capabilities of PF Custom to take designs from paper to production in
a matter of weeks. The competition invites trade designers and
architects to submit a unique, original faucet design for the chance
to win a $3,000 cash prize, as well as a trip to visit the Pfister
headquarters in Lake Forest, Calif., where they will further develop
their entry with Pfister's world-class Industrial Design team. The
contest runs from May 14, 2014 until June 25, 2014. Entries can be
submitted at http://apps.facebook.com/faucetdesign. 
"The 2014 Pfister Custom Faucet Challenge is the perfect way for us
to shine a spotlight on the vast capabilities of PF Custom and its
ability to quickly and efficiently design and manufacture custom
hospitality projects," said Robert Peters, director of Pfister

extraordinary designers and architects through this exciting new
competition and look forward to the unique faucet designs we know it
will foster." 
Contest Rules
 Participants must submit contest entries digitally via
the online entry form accessible on
http://apps.facebook.com/faucetdesign. Entries may consist of
drawings, sketches, images (e.g., images of clay models) and up to 85
words describing the design and its inspiration. The last date for
submittals is June 25. 
After this deadline, Pfister will review all entries and select 10
semi-finalists. Those semi-finalists will then be displayed on
www.pfisterfaucets.com and/or the Pfister Facebook Page for public
voting from June 26 to July 25. Valid votes will be counted and the
winner announced on www.pfisterfaucets.com and/or the Pfister
Facebook Page, within two weeks of the close of voting.  
Prize Details
 The contest winner will receive a $3,000 cash prize,
as well as a trip to visit the Pfister headquarters for further
consideration of developing the winning product design. The trip will
include:  


 
--  round-trip coach-class air transportation for the winner from a major
    gateway airport nearest to the winner's residence in the continental
    United States to Lake Forest, Calif.;
--  one night's stay at a hotel selected by Pfister;
--  taxi transportation from the airport to and from the hotel and
    Pfister's headquarters, and to the airport for the return flight; and,
--  a $200 gift card for food and beverages.

  
All travel to Pfister headquarters must be completed by Dec. 31, 2014.
Certain blackout dates and restrictions may apply.  
The final design will be produced in a to-scale physical 3D model for
