    approximately 2,200 employees.

Versatrans 2014 Excellence Award winner:

*Joplin Schools in Joplin, Missouri. Joplin Schools has approximately 7,600
students and 1,300 employees in the southwest corner of the state.

Award submissions were evaluated by a panel of Tyler leadership. Entries were

public-sector organizations. Additional criteria met by award winners include:

*Creating a unique process that utilizes a Tyler application
*Realizing significant savings after implementing a Tyler product
*Increasing staff productivity by implementing a Tyler product
  *Empowering employees, citizens or vendors

Palmetto Bay used Eden and Tyler Cashiering to recoup lost revenue from credit
card processing fees; TCOMM 911 reduced payroll errors and improved customer
service with Eden’s human resource applications; and Asotin County used Eden’s
OSDBA (operating system and database administration) support services to save
thousands in employee costs.

Barrow County School System used Munis and Tyler Pulse to provide educators
with data and track student results; Queen Creek reigned in its purchasing
costs with the Munis purchasing card program, which allowed staff to import
data daily; and Contra Costa COE improved overall efficiencies of its central
check processing system with Munis.

Mission CISD invested in the Tyler SIS e-learning platform making it mandatory
for all new teachers to complete training of Tyler SIS before the start of the
school year, resulting in improved data accuracy and access to information.
Joplin Schools was awarded for its use of Versatrans following the
catastrophic tornado that struck the city of Joplin on May 22, 2011. The
district used Versatrans to plan routes around destroyed or missing addresses
and landmarks after the initial crisis and, most recently, to eliminate the
extra buses and routes that were required to deal with the aftermath of the
tornado.

Tyler Excellence Award winners were honored Monday, April 14, at the Tyler
Connect 2014 user conference in San Antonio where they were presented with the
award and given the opportunity to share their best practices and lessons
learned with their public sector peers. Winners were also offered an expense
paid trip for one to the conference.

“Tyler’s Public Sector Excellence Awards program is our chance to publicly
recognize clients who embrace our technology and use our solutions to solve
unique problems at their district, agency or municipality,” said Chris
Hepburn, senior vice president of Tyler’s ERP & School Division. “Feedback
from our most innovative clients further enhances the experience for all users
of Tyler product suites, and we’re proud to offer a forum like Tyler’s Connect
user conference where our clients can share real-world successes with their
peers. Congratulations to all the winners of Tyler’s Excellence Awards.”
