MINDEN, La., April 9, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Minden Bancorp, Inc. (the
"Company" or "Minden Bancorp") (OTCBB:MDNB) announced today that its Board of
Directors at their meeting on April 8, 2014, declared a cash dividend of
$0.095 per share on the common stock of the Company, payable on April 29, 2014
to the shareholders of record at the close of business on April 18, 2014.
The Company is the parent holding company of MBL Bank headquartered in Minden,
Louisiana. At December 31, 2013 the Company had assets of $288.9 million,
total liabilities of $247.2 million, and total stockholders' equity of $41.7
