Spartan ERV Unveils Concept Emergency Response Platform on Demand (ER POD)

Response Vehicles) ("Spartan"), a business unit of Spartan Motors, Inc.
(Nasdaq:SPAR), will present an Emergency Response Platform on Demand (ER POD)
concept unit that will redefine versatility and functionality while serving
your community. A product of Spartan-Gimaex Innovations, LLC, the Company's
joint venture with French apparatus manufacturer Gimaex, ER POD equips you for
the unknowns in a dire time of need.

The concept unit will be available for "walk around" presentations in Spartan
ERV's booth (#2423) at the Fire Department Instructors Conference (FDIC) in
Indianapolis on April 10-12.
