WEST CHESTER, Ohio, April 7, 2014

WEST CHESTER, Ohio, April 7, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --AK Steel (NYSE: AKS) said
today that it will increase the current spot market base price for its hot
roll carbon steel to a minimum of $700 per ton, effective immediately with new
orders.
