FANUC America Highlights Oakland Community College’s Robotics and Automation
Program in New Video
ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich. -- April 2, 2014
FANUC America Corporation released a new YouTube video about Oakland Community
College’s (OCC) Robotics and Automation Program. OCC is the largest community
college in Michigan and has offered a robotics and automation curriculum for

the STEM process in that it encourages students to embrace science,
technology, engineering and math to prepare them for an advanced career.”
Graduates of the OCC program receive industry-recognized certification which,
according to Sefcovic, let’s potential employers know that these students are
fully prepared with the necessary skills to work with robots and automation.
“I believe OCC sets the model for robotic and automation training programs,”
said Sefcovic. “It’s not just the technology itself, but how the technology
fits into the larger picture.”
“Our education programs are aligned with STEM initiatives to support technical
education and career paths,” said Paul Aiello, regional manager, FANUC
