SUNNYVALE, Calif. -- March 31, 2014

SK Telecom Americas will host an open house reception of their new Innovation
Accelerator in Sunnyvale on April ^ 24, 2014. The Accelerator pairs
entrepreneurs with Strategic Partners and provides up to $1 million in
combined funding, services and facilities.

Shortly before the open house at the innovation center, the technology giant
will be accepting applications to meet 1-on-1 with emerging companies through
a program called MarketLink. Executives from SK Telecom, Korea’s largest
wireless operator and global technology leader, will come to Sunnyvale to hear
presentations from startup companies that hope to do business with the
wireless technology giant.

MarketLink, a program created by San Diego technology association CommNexus,
aims to bring together and provide partnership opportunities for small and
multi-national technology companies from around the globe.

Technology startups have already begun signing up to pitch their businesses
and technologies to SK Telecom. Under the MarketLink program, SK Telecom will
choose about a dozen companies from the list of applicants. Those firms will
meet face to face with executives to pitch their ideas and products in a
one-hour meeting.

CommNexus has been running MarketLink programs for nine years, with some of
the world’s most important companies participating. The list includes
Motorola, Sony Electronics, LG, Samsung, ZTE, Huawei, AT&T and Verizon

“In past programs, about 30 percent of MarketLink finalists continue
discussions beyond the program, and many engage formally with the large
multi-national company,” says CommNexus CEO, Rory Moore.

The deadline for submitting applications ends Friday, April 18^th. The pitches
will be on May 13-14^th at the new SK Telecom Innovation Accelerator. For more
information or to apply to MarketLink, contact the CommNexus MarketLink
