OAKVILLE, ON, March 17, 2014 /CNW/ - For Tim Hortons guests craving a warm and 
satisfying chicken sandwich for lunch, the wait is over. Today the company 
announces the newest addition to its lunch menu, the Tims Crispy Chicken 
Sandwich. 
Made with tender seasoned white meat and breaded on the outside, the new Tims 
Crispy Chicken Sandwich is Tim Hortons' answer to the growing hot chicken 
sandwich category. According to NPD research, breaded chicken sandwiches are 
the most popular sandwich variety in quick service restaurants in Canada, 
making up nearly 19 per cent share of total sandwiches, and growing at nine 
per cent this past year alone.

menu innovation that meets the evolving needs and preferences of our guests,"

The Tims Crispy Chicken Sandwich is made fresh to order with breaded, seasoned 
white meat, lettuce, tomato and light mayo on a soft, bakery-style bun. The 
Crispy Chicken Sandwich is available at participating Tim Hortons restaurants 
across Canada starting at $4.99. 
Tim Hortons is encouraging guests to show their excitement for the new Tims 
Crispy Chicken Sandwich by performing a dance - the Chicken Dance, 
specifically. Starting Wednesday, March 19, Instagram and Twitter followers 
will be invited to post a video of themselves doing the Chicken Dance, using 
the hashtag #CrispyChickenDance, for the chance to win a Tim Card to try the 
new sandwich. Fans can follow the Chicken Dancing fun on Twitter @TimHortons 
and Instagram @TimHortons using #CrispyChickenDance.
