Fortune Magazine Continues to Recognize Steelcase Inc. in the Home Equipment
and Furnishings Industry Sector

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., March 3, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Fortune magazine has
recognized Steelcase Inc. (NYSE:SCS) as one of its 2014 "World's Most Admired
Companies" in the Home Equipment and Furnishings industry sector. This year,
Steelcase is joined by notable companies including Whirlpool, Tupperware
Brands and Stanley Black & Decker, among others.

In the Fortune survey of executives that ultimately determine the "Most
Admired Companies" rankings, Steelcase's highest scores came in the
Innovation, Social Responsibility, Quality of Management and Quality of
Products/Services categories.
