Bonnette said, "Auctions are a great opportunity to purchase the motorcycle of
your dreams at the price you want to pay."
She had these tips for someone considering purchasing at auction:
*Attend the auction preview to inspect items.
*Know what item is being auctioned and the current bid.
*Know what the asking price is.
*Buy what you like and can afford.
"Decide before the auction starts what you are willing to pay for the item you
want to bid on. This technique can save people money and guilt," Bonnette
said. "It's easy to get caught up and carried away in the fast paced bidding
action at an auction. Remember, if you bid and win, it's yours."
