Mattersight Appoints New Executive Vice President of Sales, Richard Dresden
CHICAGO, IL -- (Marketwired) -- 02/25/14 -- Mattersight Corporation

customer and employee interactions and behaviors, today announced
that Richard Dresden has joined the company as its Executive Vice
President of Sales. In this role, Mr. Dresden will be responsible for
all sales activities and report directly to CEO Kelly Conway.

Mr. Dresden joins the Mattersight leadership team from Savvis, a
leading provider of cloud computing and managed hosting, where he
most recently served as Vice President of Sales overseeing sales,
strategy, and go-to-market for the financial vertical. Prior to this
role, Mr. Dresden was the founding executive for Savvis' IT
Outsourcing division, where he recruited and managed the
cross-functional team to start and then rapidly grow this business
While at Savvis, Mr. Dresden achieved numerous sales and leadership
awards including Area Vice President of the Year in 2013. Mr. Dresden
brings more than 15 years' experience scaling technology services
businesses from start up to more than $300 million in revenues.
Prior to joining Savvis, Mr. Dresden worked in consulting and banking
in various operational and go-to-market roles. Mr. Dresden earned his
MBA with Honors from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI, and
was a Phi Beta Kappa graduating with Honors from the Indiana
University in Bloomington, Indiana where he earned his BA.
