announced Supply & Demand Chain Executive has selected Lynn Torrel, senior
vice president, global supply chain and strategic accounts, and Lalit Wadhwa,
vice president, global supply chain operations, as 2014 Provider Pros to Know.
Pros to Know is an annual listing of the top supply and demand chain industry
professionals. With these awards, a total of eight Avnet executives have made
this distinguished list of supply chain professionals.

The Pros to Know Awards recognize supply chain executives in manufacturing and
non-manufacturing enterprises who are leading initiatives to help prepare
their companies’ supply chains for the significant challenges of today’s
business climate. Supply & Demand Chain Executive received more than 300
entries for the 2014 Pros to Know Award.

properly managed, can go beyond initiating cost reductions, to becoming true

Marketing. “Both Lynn and Lalit have deep expertise in managing the technology

Torrel brings 18 years of electronics industry expertise to her role. She
joined Avnet in 2001, with the company’s acquisition of European semiconductor
distributor EBV Elektronik. At Avnet, she has held increasingly progressive
management roles, with responsibility for supply chain solutions development
and implementation, and global account management. Torrel holds an MBA from
Arizona State University and received the 2010 W.P. Carey Student Leadership
Wadhwa is a 24-year Avnet veteran. His team assists customers to seamlessly
move their supply chain from one region of the world to another, across
multiple sites. He also ensures consistent supply chain business processes for
global customers across Avnet’s regions and provides customers with a
consistent experience, regardless of location. He holds a bachelor of
Engineering, Electronics and Communications from Delhi College of Engineering.
