VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - Feb. 13, 2014) - Africa Oil Corp.
(TSX VENTURE:AOI)(NASDAQ:AOI)(OMX:AOI) ("Africa Oil" or the
"Company") reports that in accordance with its annual employee
incentive policy, the Company has granted an aggregate of 5,958,500 stock
options to directors, officers and employees. The options, subject to vesting
provisions, are exercisable over a period of three years at a price of $8.44

Ethiopia as well as Puntland (Somalia) through its 45% equity interest in Horn
Petroleum Corporation. Africa Oil's East African holdings are within a
