at the Advanced Automotive Battery Conference (AABC) being held February 3-7,
2014 in Atlanta. AABC is the leading international battery forum in the
industry. The conference features top energy-storage technologists from

prospects for hybrid and electric vehicles and the energy storage devices that

Maxwell Technologies Chief Technical Officer Michael Everett will discuss the
value proposition of electrochemical capacitors in grid storage and buffering
applications as part of the "EC Capacitor Storage System Application" session.
Moderated by Chrysler Energy Storage Systems Specialist Oliver Gross, the
session will review module design and system engineering to meet the
performance goals of applications in key markets, including transportation,
utilities and more. The discussion is part of the Large EC Capacitor
Technology and Application (ECCAP) Symposium at AABC.

Also during the ECCAP Symposium, Maxwell Technologies Director of Product
Marketing Chad McDonald will discuss groundbreaking applications of
ultracapacitors in transportation. McDonald is a panelist on the "New EC
Capacitor Products and Business Development" session, which will focus on
product development for industrial, utility and transportation energy-storage
systems.
