specialized services, today announced the company will be hosting the
eDiscovery Education Track on Feb. 4, 2014 at LegalTech New York 2014 at the
New York Hilton Midtown. Daegis’ panel of specialists will share their
insights on proactively combining technology and cooperation in eDiscovery,
ethics in eDiscovery and sustainable practices in Information Governance
during three separate sessions.

The first session, Doing it Right: Combining Technology and Cooperation in
eDiscovery, begins at 10:30 a.m. It will address when and how to use cutting
edge technologies and when to avoid them, how to cooperate in the world of
technology-assisted review and how to deal with the “pretend cooperator.”
Ariana Tadler, Partner at Milberg LLP and Chair Emeritus, as well as an active
member of The Sedona Conference® Steering Committee for Working Group I, will
lead the session of eDiscovery practice experts.

The second session, Information Governance Best Practices: Taking your
Organization to the Next Level, begins at 2:00 p.m. and will provide an
in-depth look at the business, litigation and compliance drivers of data
governance. Attendees will learn how data is identified, collected and used
during litigation and investigations and how to improve compliance, privacy
and information security relative to data governance. This session will be
moderated by Johnny Lee, Managing Director, Forensic, Investigative and
Dispute Services at Grant Thornton LLP.

The final session on eDiscovery Ethics will begin at 3:45 p.m. and will
feature an informal discussion on the state of today’s eDiscovery market with
two prominent judges. The Honorable Andrew J. Peck, U.S. Magistrate Judge,
U.S. District Court, Southern District of New York and the Honorable James C.
Francis IV, U.S. Magistrate Judge, U.S. District Court, Southern District of
New York will participate.
