Auto Insurance Has a (Big) New Voice
Elephant Auto Insurance introduces new creative campaign in Dallas/Fort Worth
RICHMOND, Va., Jan. 23, 2014
RICHMOND, Va., Jan. 23, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --With the geckos, camels and other
animals used to advertise auto insurance nowadays, a company's identity is
often missing in the "spokesanimal's" message. It's time for a "spokesanimal"
upgrade, and Elephant Insurance Services, LLC provides just that as part of
its new creative brand campaign. In the new campaign Elephant introduces us to
their founder--the voice of the company and an advocate for affordable and
customer-focused auto insurance. Television spots featuring the founder, a
well-dressed, sophisticated and sagacious elephant, began airing earlier this
month in markets including Dallas/Fort Worth.
Elephant's new campaign was developed by Circle One Marketing, a Norwalk,
Connecticut-based creative agency that has serviced other notable brands
including Campbell's, BIC and Constant Contact. Elephant Insurance tasked the
agency with creating a character identity that would embody both the company's
culture and its unique approach to auto insurance. In the first round of
spots--produced by visual effects company FrameStore--the founder speaks
directly to consumers about his motivation for bringing more care and less
cost to Elephant Auto Insurance customers.
"We wanted a unique voice that positions the Elephant Auto Insurance brand in
a way that compels consumers to consider us when they shop for insurance,"
said Kevin Chidwick, CEO of Elephant Insurance Services, LLC. "Elephant needed
a stand-out character whose DNA reinforces the message that although people
want to save money and shop direct, they also want to feel confident that they
are going to get great service from a reliable company."
Michael Dill, Managing Partner at Circle One Marketing, expressed his
enthusiasm about Elephant's campaign: "We see this character as the
cornerstone of Elephant's ongoing acquisition plans, with a memorable
character that will pique curiosity and stick all the way through the
decision-making process. Elephant's "founder" won't just stand out--he'll help
insurance shoppers smartly decide in favor of Elephant. He's the next big
thing in auto insurance."
Elephant Auto Insurance is a direct-to-consumer insurance provider currently
