The winning entry, entitled "Omaggio all'artigiano" (Homage to the artisan) - W ishes to emphasize the importance of the artisan, understood not only as a person with his or her own activity, but, in particular, as a custodian of his or her own art. Born in 1984 and educated at the Design Faculty of the Milan Politecnico, Luca Galbusera works in the field of interior design partnering with both businesses and private individuals.In February 2014, he will be facilitated by i.lab, Italcementi's Research and Innovation Centre, to attenda workshop organized by LPWK Design Studio, owned by Laura Polinoro, who for years has been working with Alessi on organising design workshopsall over the world.During the workshop at i.lab, the project will be examined in detail and perfected so at to obtain a new design piece to be possiblyincluded in Alessi's future collection.
