Cooper Tire & Rubber Company announced today that its new CS3 Touring tire has

several thousands of entries from more than 48 countries.
The GOOD DESIGN™ Award is one of the world's most prestigious and
longest-standing design award programs recognizing new consumer products
designed and manufactured in Europe, Asia, Africa, and North and South

product appearance and aesthetic appeal.
Cooper’s CS3 Touring tire is an exceptional all season tire featuring Cooper’s
new STABILEDGE™ technology, which is designed to enhance dry handling
stability, crisper steering response and improve overall ride comfort. Its 3D
Micro-Gauge^™ siping improves handling and control in all seasons. With a
newly developed five-rib tread pattern, the CS3 Touring delivers improved wet
and light snow traction, a smooth, quiet ride and even-wearing, long-lasting
tread life. Additionally, the CS3 is one of the lightest tires in its class,
which translates to increased fuel efficiency.
“Receiving the acclaimed 2013 GOOD DESIGN^™ Award for our new CS3 Touring tire
is further third-party validation that the work Cooper has been doing to
create innovative, quality products that perform is being recognized,” said
Scott Jamieson, Cooper Director of Product Marketing. “Cooper is committed to
connecting consumers to life’s road trips and the CS3 meets the needs of
families by creating a safe, reliable, fuel-efficient and affordable tire that
