T. Boone Pickens and John Hofmeister Featured at IAGC Annual Meeting 
HOUSTON, TX -- (Marketwired) -- 01/21/14 --  The International
Association of Geophysical Contractors (IAGC) today announced
legendary oil and gas icons, T. Boone Pickens and John Hofmeister as
the featured speakers for its 43rd Annual Meeting on February 18,
2014 at the Norris Conference Center in Houston, TX. The day-long
event will host attendees from geophysical and exploration and
production companies.  
John Hofmeister, Founder & CEO, Citizens for Affordable Energy and
Former President of Shell Oil will deliver the morning keynote
address, "Energy is the Nation's Stimulus to New Prosperity." For
lunch, attendees will enjoy "A Conversation with Oil & Gas Legend T.
Boone Pickens." Pickens is the Founder of Mesa Petroleum, BP Capital,
and Clean Energy Fuels Corp. 
The meeting will provide updates on global geophysical activities,
presentations on market outlook and perspectives on the seismic
industry as well as breakout sessions on the role of geophysical
technologies in the pursuit of unconventional resources and the
importance of seismic data in predicting what the wellbore will
encounter. There will also be a Geophysical Industry Executives Panel
Session. The meeting will conclude with a reception. 
The Annual Meeting will also offer a special college student program.
Students studying geoscience disciplines are invited to attend free
of charge. Registration is limited and is on a first come first serve
