NEW GLOUCESTER, Maine, Dec. 18, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --The Iberdrola USA
Foundation, in conjunction with Fundacion Iberdrola is now accepting
applications for scholarships for master's studies in energy and/or the
environment at the University of Rochester and the University of Maine for the
2014/2015 academic year. The Iberdrola Scholarship Program is open to graduate
students who wish to pursue master's level instruction in renewable energy,
sustainable energy systems, the environment & biodiversity, clean combustion
technologies & emissions management, energy efficiency, energy storage,
electric vehicles, or smart distribution networks. The grants cover full
tuition plus a $25,200 stipend.

Since its inception in 2010, the Iberdrola Scholarship Program has enabled
more than 200 students to complete postgraduate studies. In 2013-2014, the
Foundations will sponsor 72 master's degree candidates in various programs at
universities in Spain, the U.K. and the U.S.
