  Aggreko Launches Remote Monitoring Solution

Next Generation Remote Monitoring and Dedicated Technical Support Combine to
                 Improve Productivity, Reduce Costly Downtime

HOUSTON -- December 18, 2013

Aggreko, the global leader in temporary power generation, temperature control
and oil-free compressed air solutions, is taking the next step in its service
excellence strategy to improve the customer experience. The Aggreko Remote
Monitoring (ARM) solution, currently being rolled out across Aggreko’s fleet
of generators and oil-free air compressors in North America, provides
real-time asset monitoring and dedicated diagnostic support by Aggreko’s
technical experts, preventing issues, improving uptime and helping customers
keep operations running at peak efficiency.

An integral part of the ARM solution includes Aggreko’s new Remote Operations
Center and technical support team. Based in New Iberia, LA, the center
coordinates rapid response to ARM’s alarm notifications throughout North
America by first evaluating equipment data and then initiating the most
efficient response. The Remote Operations Center monitors thousands of
critical equipment parameters while it is on a customer’s site, such as
operations and loads, run hours, fuel levels and GPS location.

“With real-time data, ARM gives our team full visibility of performance
conditions to save customers from downtime and unanticipated costs, such as
right-sizing equipment due to load changes,” said Terry Dressel, Vice
President, National Operations, Aggreko North America. “We are proud to take
this next step in our service excellence strategy through the use of
remote-diagnostic technology and a specialized support team, allowing our
customers to focus on their day-to-day priorities.”

When equipment is outside certain parameters, alerts are sent to the Remote
Operations Center, enabling the team to diagnose and respond in the most
efficient manner and often prior to an issue. Aggreko remotely fixes the issue
with the site when possible, or dispatches a qualified technician with a
thorough understanding of the issue.

“Centralized, real-time asset monitoring, the technical expertise of the
Remote Operations Center and the performance of Aggreko’s network of local
service centers combine to offer customers a strong, next-generation
solution,” said Harley Thompson, Continuous Improvement Lead, Aggreko North
America.

EDITOR’S NOTES

Aggreko plc is the world leader in the supply of temporary power and
temperature control solutions. Aggreko employs over 5,700 people operating
from 194 locations. In 2012 we served customers in about 100 countries, and
had revenues of approximately GBP 1.6bn (USD 2.5bn or Euros 2.0bn). Aggreko
plc is listed on the London Stock Exchange (AGK.L), is a member of the
FTSE-100 index, and is headquartered in Scotland. For more information, please
visit the company website at www.aggreko.com

Aggreko provides power and temperature control solutions to customers who need
them either very quickly, or for a short or indeterminate length of time.
Examples would be the supply of power to an industrial site which needs to
service its permanent power supply, supplying a whole city in times of power
shortage, or providing a major sporting event with power and cooling systems.
We serve our customers either through our 194 service centers, which we call
the Local business, or globally through our Power Projects business.

In the Local business, which accounts for about half of our revenues, we hire
our equipment to customers, who then operate it for themselves, although we
retain responsibility for servicing and maintaining it. In the Power Projects
business, which also accounts for about half of our revenues, we operate as a
power producer. We install and operate power plants and we charge our
customers both for providing the generating capacity, and for the electricity
we produce. We design and manufacture equipment specifically for these
requirements in our factory in Dumbarton, Scotland.

Recent customers include the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, the
Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games and the power utilities in over 50
countries including the UK, France, Angola, Kenya, Indonesia, Bangladesh,
Venezuela, Chile, Brazil and the USA.

In 2012 we fulfilled almost 45,000 customers’ assignments and 70% of those who
responded to our research gave us a recommendation of 9 or 10 out of 10.
