Two leaders from Balfour Beatty Communities’ multifamily business were
recently elected to officer positions for property management professional
associations in western Florida. Holly Costello, vice president multifamily
operations, has been elected to the Executive Council for the Institute of
Real Estate Management (IREM) Florida West Coast Chapter No. 44, and Lisa
Dailey, vice president business development, was named a 2015 Director for the
Bay Area Apartment Association (BAAA) in Tampa Bay.

As part of the IREM council, Holly Costello will join a select group of fellow
industry leaders in serving a one year term as a committee leader helping to
guide and shape the Chapter’s business and initiatives in 2014. She has worked
in the property management industry for more than 25 years, joining Balfour
Beatty Communities in 2007 and holds the Certified Property Management
certification (CPM®) accreditation.

Lisa Dailey’s diverse backgrounds and 20+ years in the multifamily sector will
be a significant asset in her new role as a 2015 Director for BAAA. In this
role she will be focused on promoting increased membership involvement,
enhancing member resources and education opportunities, as well as introducing
the creation of a “Rising Stars” program for under 40 professionals that will
help them develop as future association and industry leaders. Lisa’s previous
involvement with BAAA has included active participation in member programs and
events serving on a variety of committees, including education, ways and
means, membership, and trade show.

“Lisa and I are very excited about our respective leadership roles with IREM
and BAAA,” said Costello. “Both groups are doing important work in shaping the
future of property management in Florida and we are thrilled to contribute our
time and expertise to their efforts. Growing our property management business
in Florida is key to Balfour Beatty Communities’ strategy for the multifamily
business and our active participation in these associations greatly enhances
that effort.”
