Customer Demand Spurs Guidance Software to Open Training Facility in Florida
New Facility to Offer Complete Range of Courses; Registration Now Open
PASADENA, Calif. -- December 4, 2013
Guidance Software, Inc. (NASDAQ: GUID), the World Leader in Digital
Investigations™, announced the opening of a new Guidance Software Training
Center in January 2014 to meet the increasing demand for its award-winning
training program serving customers of its EnCase® products. Located in
Orlando, Florida, Guidance Software’s newest training facility will offer a
complete complement of courses across all levels, from introductory to expert.
The training curriculum will focus on the use of EnCase security, e-discovery
and forensics products.
To date, Guidance Software and its partners have trained more than 58,000
students worldwide and certified 3,000 students on the use of EnCase products.
Students at the Florida facility can earn the coveted EnCE® and EnCEP®
certifications. Popular courses include Computer Forensics I and Computer
Forensics II, which are the starting point for new examiners. For more
advanced examiners, the EnCE Prep and Advanced Internet Examinations courses

With the opening of the Florida facility, Guidance Software will operate five
training locations in the U.S. and one in London. The existing U.S. facilities
are located in Chicago, Los Angeles, Houston, and Washington, D.C. The

high-performance forensic workstations, center monitors that provide
visibility of the instructor’s display, an interactive whiteboard and Wink
paint that allows instructors to write lessons on the walls.
Located a few miles from the Orlando International Airport (MCO), the facility
is within walking distance of restaurants and popular hotel chains that offer
shuttle service to and from the airport, minimizing the need for vehicle
