NEWTOWN SQUARE, Pa. -- December 2, 2013

Residents across Balfour Beatty Communities’ Navy Southeast housing portfolio
recently participated in a national customer satisfaction survey and responded
with positive comments and high scores that garnered Balfour Beatty
Communities the prestigious 2013 Multifamily Real Estate Award for Customer
Service Excellence at 22 properties. Also known as the CEL & Associates “A
List” award, it recognizes the industry best as it relates to customer service
within multifamily property management.

As part of the survey, residents within the BBC-managed Navy Southeast housing
portfolio graded the company on everything from leasing and operations, to
housing unit features, appearance and condition, as well as quality of
maintenance, resolution response time, resident communications, and other
important service criteria.

Balfour Beatty Communities earned a total of 22 awards—including seven
‘Platinum’ awards for the highest level of resident satisfaction—for
properties across the Navy Southeast portfolio, including housing communities
at Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base Fort Worth (TX), Naval Air Station Key
West (FL), Naval Air Station Meridian (MS), Naval Air Station Pensacola (FL),
Naval Air Station Whiting Field (FL), Naval Construction Battalion Center
Gulfport (MS), Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay (GA), Naval Support Activity
Panama City (FL), Naval Support Unit Saratoga Springs (FL), and Naval Weapons
Station Charleston (SC).
