ICAP to hold 21st Annual Global Charity Day on Tuesday 3 December

Business Wire

LONDON -- December 2, 2013

ICAP plc (IAP.L), a leading markets operator and provider of post trade risk
mitigation and information services, announces that it will hold its 21^st
annual global Charity Day on Tuesday 3 December 2013. On this day, 100% of
ICAP's revenues and commissions generated globally will be donated to more
than 200 charities worldwide.

Since the first Charity Day in 1993, ICAP has raised more than £100 million
for the benefit of approximately 1,400 well-deserving charities worldwide.
Last year's donation of £11 million was equivalent to approximately 4% of
ICAP's full year pre-tax profit. This year 16 charities in the UK will benefit
and are listed below.

As part of the day's activities, ICAP invites the charities' celebrity patrons
to join the Company in more than 60 offices worldwide to speak to ICAP's
customers and help boost trading volumes for the day. This year, Her Royal
Highness The Duchess of Cornwall will attend ICAP Charity Day, supporting
Shelterbox and the National Osteoporosis Society. The full list of celebrities
attending will be announced on the day. His Royal Highness The Duke of
Cambridge, Darcey Bussell, Boris Johnson, Oprah Winfrey, Meryl Streep and Mo
Farah have been just a few of those who have lent their support to ICAP in
previous years.

Michael Spencer, Group Chief Executive Officer of ICAP, said: "Since our very
modest beginnings in 1993, Charity Day has grown into a truly extraordinary
global event. The charities we have supported have made a difference to
hundreds of thousands of lives. Against the backdrop of a difficult economic
environment, we recognise the challenges faced by charities in raising funds
and we are extremely grateful to our customers, suppliers and employees for
their efforts. On this, ICAP’s 21^st Charity Day, together we will all give
100%."

Notes to Editors

ICAP Charity Day was set up to make a significant difference to charities, by
ICAP giving away all its revenue and commissions on one day each year,
equivalent to approximately 4% of annual pre-tax profits, enabling the Company
to make large donations to a number of charities. Since the first charity day
in 1993, ICAP has raised more than £100m for charity from over 60 offices
worldwide. For more information on ICAP Charity Day and a full list of this
year's global beneficiaries please go to: www.icapcharity.day.com.
