clients, AGCO Corporation and Cummins, Inc. were honored as “HealthCare
Consumerism Superstars” by the Institute for HealthCare Consumerism, the only
multi-platform, collaborative environment focused exclusively on innovative
health and benefit management.

Both Dennis Branch, AGCO’s VP of Human Resources for North America, and Martha
Whiteman, Cummins’ Health Improvement Strategy Director, were awarded with
awards in the “Most Effective Population Health and Wellness Awards” category.

In its eighth year, the awards identified representatives from 61 companies
“who are superstars in the area of health and benefit management.” According
to the IHC’s CEO and publisher Doug Field, “The Institute for HealthCare
Consumerism is highlighting those individuals who are actively changing our
broken health care system for the better. At this time of disruption, it is
important to recognize the emerging leaders and innovators.”

AGCO’s Branch was honored for evolving the company’s wellness programs from
the traditional to a more active, engaged and invested workforce – and chose

their own individual wellness goals, and thus feel more engaged. Highlights
included an on-site trainer who led “boot-camp” classes and a partnership with

the holistic approach necessary to change behaviors for the long term, to
create happy, engaged employees. By implementing programs from Virgin Pulse,
she was able to have more than 80 percent of her employees engaged in
next-generation wellness initiatives, including the “Healthy Holidays
Challenge,” in which more than 70 percent of participants actually lost weight
during the holiday season.
