Teche Increases Quarterly Dividend to $0.38 per Common Share, Yield of 3.0% and Payout Ratio of 36.9%

NEW IBERIA, LA -- (Marketwired) -- 11/21/13 -- (NYSE MKT: TSH) The Board of Directors of Teche Holding Company, holding company for Teche Federal Bank, announced that it had declared a quarterly dividend of $0.38 per share of its common stock. The effective dividend yield amounts to 3.0% based on the stock price on the close of business on November 20, 2013.

This $0.38 per common share dividend is 4.1% higher than the $0.365 per common share dividend declared for the same quarter last year. This dividend represents a quarterly payout ratio of 36.9% based on diluted earnings per share for the quarter ended September 30, 2013. The dividend will be paid on December 31, 2013 to shareholders of record as of the close of business on December 17, 2013.
