Macquarie Securities, the institutional equities arm of Macquarie Group
(“Macquarie”) (ASX:MQG)(ADR:MQBKY), today announced the appointment of Rajesh
Ghai as Senior Tech Analyst covering Enterprise IT and Data Center
Infrastructure.

Andrew Root, Managing Director and Head of US Research said: “We are delighted

Mr. Ghai, who is based in Macquarie’s New York office, has more than 13 years
of industry and sell-side experience in the technology, data and networking
sectors. He has established a highly successful track record – ranking third
and first in the Wall Street Journal’s “Best on the Street” for Computers &
Office Equipment in 2013 and 2011 respectively, and first in 2010 and 2011 by
Starmine/FT in Computers and Peripherals – in addition to strong sales force
and client feedback for his stock calls.

Mr. Ghai joins from boutique research and investment banking firm
Craig-Hallum, where he was a Senior Research Analyst covering storage
solutions & services, hardware, communications equipment, and networking
solutions, and held a similar position at boutique investment bank
ThinkEquity. He received a BS degree from the Indian Institute of Technology
Kanpur and an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.
