CITI PRIVATE BANK APPOINTS HEAD OF US EQUITIES FOR INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT UNIT
STAMFORD, CT / NEW YORK -- Citi Private Bank has announced that Rob Jasminski has joined Citi Investment Management as Managing Director and Head of US Equities. Mr. Jasminski will be based in Stamford, CT and report to Stephanie Luedke, CEO, Citi Investment Management.
Citi Investment Management (CIM) is Citi’s discretionary investment management organization, with approximately $26 billion in global assets under management. Building on the group’s extensive experience and past successful track record in managing equity portfolios for ultra high net worth clients of Citi Private Bank, Mr. Jasminski will lead the US equity portfolio management team and investment process to help ensure that existing and future US equity strategies are both relevant and competitive.
“With a background that is both global and institutional in scope, Rob is an important addition to the team as we continue to pursue our mission of providing consistently competitive investment strategies globally, and our focus on core equity going into 2014,” said Ms. Luedke. “Our goal is to deliver institutional quality investment solutions to our private clients globally, and a competitive US equity capability is central to that mission,” she continued.
Prior to joining Citi, Mr. Jasminski spent 20 years at GE Asset Management, one of the largest managers of institutional assets in the United States. There he held a variety of fundamental research and portfolio management positions, covering core and concentrated global equity strategies. Most recently, he was the Assistant Director of Research, leading a team of 30 global equity analysts.
Mr. Jasminski received a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Operations and Strategic Management from Boston College and is a CFA Charterholder.
“I was attracted to CIM’s solid track record of performance and history of managing client portfolios for over 75 years,” Mr. Jasminski said. “I look forward to applying my background and expertise to build on that foundation and to compliment the group’s other investment management capabilities in asset classes including, fixed income, hedge fund of funds, multi-asset class and bespoke investment strategies.”
