Director resignation

PERTH, Australia, Nov. 7, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - Galaxy Resources Limited (ASX: 
GXY) ("Galaxy" or the "Company"), advises that Mr Xiaojian Ren has resigned as 
a Non-Executive Director of the Company due to personal reasons. 
Mr Ren will thus also step down as a member of the Special Management 
Committee that has already facilitated a number of financial and operational 
restructuring initiatives. 
The Company has previously flagged to the market its intention to review and 
restructure the composition of the Board. 
Mr Ren has served on the Board since 2010 and since that time has played a 
valuable role in Galaxy's growth into a global lithium company. The Board and 
management would like to express its gratitude to Mr Ren for the significant 
contribution he has made to the Company throughout his tenure. 
Galaxy's Chairman Mr Craig Readhead said that Mr Ren's commitment and 
strategic guidance had been much appreciated in advancing the company in

Lithium compounds are used in the manufacture of ceramics, glass, electronics 
and are an essential ingredient in producing battery materials such as cathode 
and electrolyte, in the manufacture of long life lithium-ion batteries, which 
are used in consumer electronics, power tools, electric bikes, hybrid and 
electric vehicles. Anticipating the growing demand in coming years, Galaxy is 
positioning itself to become a major producer of lithium products.
