SANTA MONICA, Calif., Nov. 5, 2013

SANTA MONICA, Calif., Nov. 5, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --Douglas Emmett, Inc. (NYSE:
DEI), a real estate investment trust (REIT), announced today that its Board of
Directors has declared a quarterly cash dividend on each share of its common
stock of $0.20, or $0.80 on an annualized basis. The dividend will be paid on
January 15, 2014 to shareholders of record as of December 30, 2013. This
represents an 11% increase over the Company's 2013 quarterly dividend.
