Extension to closing date for cleansing offer

PERTH, Australia, Oct. 30, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - As announced to the ASX on 9 
August 2013, 14 August 2013 and 27 August 2013, Galaxy Resources Limited (ABN 
11 071 976 442) (Company) has lodged a compliance prospectus with the 
Australian Securities and Investments Commission (Prospectus) to facilitate 
secondary trading of securities issued under the shortfall and for 
Optionholders who have recently exercised their Options from the Company's 
recent rights issue. 
The Company wishes to advise that it will be further extending the closing 
date for the offer of securities under the Prospectus from 31 October 2013 to 
9 September 2014 at 5.00pm (WST).

Western Australia and the James Bay Lithium Pegmatite Project in Quebec, 
Canada. 
Lithium compounds are used in the manufacture of ceramics, glass, electronics 
and are an essential ingredient in producing battery materials such as cathode 
and electrolyte, in the manufacture of long life lithium-ion batteries, which 
are used in consumer electronics, power tools, electric bikes, hybrid and 
electric vehicles. Anticipating the growing demand in coming years, Galaxy is 
positioning itself to become a major producer of lithium products.
