On October 17, 2013, Union Pacific Corporation (Union Pacific) reported its
results for Q3 2013 with net income of c.$1.2 billion, up 10.5% YoY. Total
operating revenues for Q3 2013 stood at $5.6 billion, reflecting an increase

gains, we more than offset flat volumes to generate a new, best-ever quarterly
