Acorn Income Corp. Appoints New Auditor
Calgary, Alberta CANADA, October 28, 2013 /FSC/ - Acorn Income Corp. (ACI -
CNSX),("Acorn" or the "Company"), announced that its Board of Directors has
approved the appointment of DNTW Chartered Accountants, LLP (the "Successor
Auditor") as auditor of Acorn effective October 23, 2013, to replace Werner
Haag Professional Corporation ("Former Auditor"), the former auditor, whom
resigned October 23, 2013.
The Company's audit committee and its Board of Directors have approved the
resignation of the Former Auditor. Pursuant to National Instrument 51-102
Continuous Disclosure Obligations, the Notice of Change of Auditor, together
with the letter from the Former Auditor and the letter from the Successor
Auditor have been reviewed by the Company's audit committee and Board of
Directors and have been filed on SEDAR.
There were no reservations in the Former Auditor's reports for the two most
recently-completed fiscal years or for any period subsequent to the most
recently-completed period for which an audit report was issued and preceding the
date of the Former Auditor's resignation. It is the Company's opinion that there
have been no reportable events, (as defined in National Instrument 51-102 (Part
4.11)) between the Company and the Former Auditor.
