Boingo Selected for Cellular DAS at Memphis Airport

Boingo to Design and Manage Airport's First Distributed Antenna System (DAS);
Boingo to Continue as Wi-Fi Service Provider for Memphis International Airport

LOS ANGELES & MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- October 24, 2013

Boingo Wireless (NASDAQ: WIFI), the leading DAS and Wi-Fi provider that serves
consumers, carriers and advertisers worldwide, today announced that Memphis
International Airport (MEM) has selected the company as the airport’s wireless
provider after a competitive RFP process.

Memphis International Airport chose Boingo to design, build and manage the
airport's first cellular Distributed Antenna System (DAS), and Boingo will
continue to provide enhanced public Wi-Fi services for the airport, including
a free Wi-Fi option.

The Boingo DAS network will provide improved cellular voice and data coverage
and capacity throughout the airport terminals, ground transportation center
and surrounding areas, eliminating cellular "dead zones" and enhancing the
passenger experience. Boingo’s neutral host approach to DAS and Wi-Fi ensures
network availability to all wireless carriers and the best possible
connectivity experience to their customers.

Per the terms of the new agreement, Boingo will soon offer tiered Wi-Fi
services to meet the needs of Memphis International’s travelers. The company
will offer free ad-supported Wi-Fi to all passengers, enabling them to get
online quickly and easily to check email, share via social media, and stay
entertained during their travels. Boingo Media, Boingo’s advertising and
sponsorship services group, will manage Wi-Fi advertising sales and support
for the airport, helping to offset the costs of providing the free Wi-Fi

Boingo will also offer premium Wi-Fi service options for travelers with data
intensive demands such as streaming video or uploading large files. The new
tiered Wi-Fi services are slated to launch in Q4 2013, in time for the holiday
travel season.

“Boingo understands the needs of today’s connected travelers and the airports
that serve them. We’ve developed new technologies and flexible offerings to
meet the changing market demands and budget constraints that our venue
partners face,” said Zack Sterngold, vice president of business development
for Boingo Wireless. “Boingo has the unique ability to act as a ‘one-stop
shop’ for airports like Memphis International, from the deployment of a
carrier-grade DAS system, to managing the complexity of a tiered Wi-Fi
network, to providing advertising services that help the airport’s bottom

“The Memphis International Airport is committed to delivering a ‘Positively
MEMorable’ experience to our travelers,” said Scott Brockman, Chief Operating
Officer for Memphis-Shelby County Airport Authority. “We’ve heard the public’s
request for free Wi-Fi and we are pleased to be teaming with Boingo to make
that a reality. In addition, travelers will benefit from the improved cellular
service provided by the new Distributed Antenna System (DAS) network being
installed by Boingo.”

Boingo manages Wi-Fi services at more than 65 leading airports worldwide,
including Denver International Airport, Beijing Capital International, Bangkok
Suvarnabhumi International, and Rome Leonardo da Vinci Fiumicino, and operates
neutral host DAS and Wi-Fi at high traffic U.S. airports including Chicago
O’Hare and New York John F. Kennedy.
