Kohl’s Department Stores (NYSE: KSS) today announced it will open its doors at
8 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day, kicking off its Black Friday event earlier than
ever. Stores will be open for 28 hours straight – from 8 p.m. Thursday,
November 28 through midnight Friday nationwide.

“Shopping over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend has become a much-anticipated
tradition enjoyed with friends and family,” said Michelle Gass, Kohl’s chief
customer officer. “As many customers are eager to get a jumpstart on their
shopping, we are opening our stores at 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day as a
convenience to our customers who want to make Kohl’s their first stop.”

In addition to opening at 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day, Kohl’s will delight and
inspire more than ever this holiday season in fun, fresh and exciting ways
with new tools, additional online conveniences and a wide assortment of hot,
name brands.

Dream Gifts and New Brands: This holiday, Kohl’s is featuring an exciting
assortment of name-brand electronics, a deep selection of top toy brands,
including Barbie^®, Fisher-Price^®, LeapFrog^®,Mattel^®,Playskool^® and
VTech^®, as well as an extensive list of designer fragrances for him and her,
such Burberry, Calvin Klein, Hugo Boss, Justin Bieber, Lacoste and Taylor
